First Kiss
by
Jakara Mato

Let it be when night’s bluest feeling
Kisses moon and stars in willowy sighs
Overcome me in your arms, a breathless treasure
Preserved by virgin sanctity of time
Brush your whispered dreams across my cheek
In whose innocent plains burn unknown fire
Murmur in soft, honey-deep notes
Let their crimson drops fall in fervent desire
Press your body through me in urgent want
Meld into me with dizzying frenzy of light
And press your rough lips against mine soft
As we float ecstatic into velvety night
